Members listing + Debate: Which guild is your favo

This is a fanclub to The Elder Scrolls game series, mainly Morrowind and Oblivion. This place works as a meeting place for the deviants who are fans of said series, as a database for fanart in dA and fanfiction both in dA and elsewhere. There will be polls to attract discussion, and in the future there might be contests if we can haul up some prizes.

Man, I'm spamming you like whoah, but atleast that just goes to show that this club ain't dead, right? Anyway, I made a Member listing as well, since the list is getting pretty long! We have 29 members already! Also, thanks to Carlota, I added seven new fanfics to our Fanfic listing. If you know any more fics, give us links, please!

Time for a discussion for a change. Which guild is your favourite, either in Morrowind or Oblivion? Why? Please share your opinions on the matter, and tell us what you really liked, and what you really hated in the guilds!

I can't stop playing this game. I haven't been able to stop since it came out.
And then there's the mods... oh my.

Well, I'm playing as a hero-only character so I never joined the Dark Brotherhood or the Thieves Guild. The Mage's Guild had some unique and interesting quests, but my favorite is the Fighter's Guild. I like the storyline about solving the mystery behind the Blackwood company. And my character is mainly a fighter and not a mage, so it's the guild most suited to her.

Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood:
+ most interesting quests
+ stealth
+ hate the guards
+ most interesting characters and plot
+ picking locks and pockets

What can make a Guild better? :D

The Dark Brotherhood because i loved bein an assassin, the armour they give ye is good too becuase of how black it is. I hated havin de do the mages guild recommendations that was annoyin.
Theives guild was good too because when ye have de steal the ice staff from the arch-mage, i was the arch-mage so i walked right in without gettin in trouble

thieves guild. it has awesome quests and it actually takes a while. at least for me.

Fighters guild all the way for me! My favorite quest in the game is the one you do with Modryn... I guess because he's my favorite character in the game =P I make sure I have a full set of permanently bound armor (except for the helmet) and a permanent bound mace for him before I start his quest so he can go out in style. OMG I'm so obsessed somebody slap me!

I liked the Mages guild well enough too, I guess, but it made me sad at the end there when Traven died. I liked him! Still it's a must do for me and usually the first quest line I take up when starting a new game.

I played through the thieves guild once and was unimpressed. I'm just not thief material lol. Steal get old fast for me. I usually join just for the 1/2 price fines perk.

The darkbrotherhood was a LOT of fun and you get great loot. Though I don't like it when my guild buddies die, and having to kill a number of my favorites sent me into a panic :XD:

And lets not forget the Mythic Dawn. I follow the main quest until I can join up and then leave right away. It's lots of fun running around saying "I do not fear death" and "Paradise awaits me" at least for a little while. :D

bah! to much oblivion nonsense, every guild/faction in morrowind is better than any of the oblivion ones, dont get me wrong, i love oblivion but there are only 4 proper factions and they are all too short AND too easy. anyway, deciding between the Morrowind ones is hard though, love the Morag Tong, Redoran will always be my favourite of the great houses and the East Empire Company quests are among my favourites too...and the thieves guild, dammit theres just to many to choose
